1. What did you do this past week?

Last weekend and on Monday, I worked really hard to get everything on React for the project working and the other project requirements completed. During the week, I worked to get a head start on Phase 3 and did some research on how different features can be added to our website and how to improve the website from Phase 2.

2. What’s in your way?

I think managing time for Phase 3 needs to be planned out by my team and I since we didn’t get much done over Spring Break and then had to work really hard the next week. We are trying to learn from these mistakes and complete this phase in a more timely and less stressful fashion.

3. What will you do next week?

I will figure out what my role will be for this phase through meeting with my team, and I will keep making progress on the website. I think making the style of the code better, removing files that are not being used, and adding additional tests will be important for the completed project. I also want to start about the presentation and what the best way to convey information about our project will be like.

4. If you read it, what did you think of the Dependency Inversion Principle?

N/A

5. What was your experience of +, *, ** and decorators? (this question will vary, week to week)

I think this week’s material was more complicated, but the HackerRank challenge that we did twice helped me understand some things more thoroughly. I also went on the class repo and looked over the notes again, but everything is making sense now.

6. What made you happy this week?

I enjoyed going to the park with my friends and playing soccer because it is a sport that I haven’t played in years, but it was really fun. I also got to wear some new cleats that I had gotten on sale a while back.

7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

I think having a document with your team that lists different tasks that are left for a phase and that helps organize the different things that different teammates will work on was really helpful for my team. We made the document at the beginning of Phase 2, and it was a good reference anytime we needed to check if we finished everything for a task or to see what each of us is working on.
